Recognise it? let me make the dress in her deviation 'Dark Cabaret' [link]
I made this against the clock as I really wanted to take it on holiday with me, a far amount of this dress was completed by hand while on a train. I think if I'd had a little more time I would have waited until I could get a slightly thinner stripe for the bustle.
The top skirt and bustle are seperate with the bustle put together as 4 pieces. The top fastens with little buttons hidden under the front ruffles and pleats out at the bottom to give the impression that I am wearing a corset underneath without actually having to wear one.
The necklace was just a cheap cross I bought sewn onto some nice lace I found. More details on the hat are found on the link below. After this though I am very keen to make more hats.
Oh My God... That's totally awesome! I wish I could write something constructive, but first I know as good as nothing about sewing, second I'm absolutely overwhelmed. Thank you very much, it's just like seeing a dream come true

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
