Chandelier Skirt

I made this skirt over a year ago, why oh why does it take forever before I upload a good photo? Well, I am getting better.

This is a highwaisted black cotton circle skirt with white embroidered chandeliers. It is lined with black habutea and the shape is assisted by two full petticoats. The embroidery design is not one I made myself although I am afraid I really can't remember where I got it from.

I love this skirt, I wore it out to my first lolita meet and it recieved lots of compliments. Also, it being a circle skirt with a shiny lining it moves and sways beautifully over the petticoat.

I may have to adjust it soon as it doesn't fit as tightly as it did a year ago and a tight fit is a key feature of highwaisted skirts
