April Happenings

My my my doesn't time fly.

I'd like thank everyone that has watched me or fav'ed any of my work recently. I have not been on deviantart recently and I have had so many messages I really can't reply to everyone personally. Thank you everyone :hug:

Ok, Updates

I have taken photos of the things I made since October (my last journal enry) and will upload them a bit at a time over the next few days. Partly to avoid flooding inboxes but also to give me chance to crop and resize the photos.

The last month has been a slow one for sewing. I have been very busy writing up my thesis which seems to grow at a snails pace and have not had the money for some of the very extravagant projects I have planned. You will be seeing more machine embroidery though as I have got to grips with the software and found a few things to embroider.

I'll leave it there. First thing to upload - Hand Embroidered Walnut (yup!)

Hello

It has been a while. Umm, not much is new I'm sad to say, have changed my sewing direction slightly towards a more lolita look. Last time I check your journal things seemed to be looking up for you though :)

yeah in a way but i have not worked on a design in a while due to this damn office job. Its drained me but im trying to get my focus back.... school could be back on the list for me

That would be good, school is a good motivator too. Sometimes you can only produce your best work with a little pressure or deadline.

Awwww the Queen of Hearts costume is awesome. I'm going to get some little gloves too to hid my manly hands lol. I almost went for a sweet loli dress. They are sooooo cuuuuttteeee.

Where do you think you'll go friday and saturday? I know Carly is going to the netherlands to see daryl, are you coming with anyone?

:D The black one is lovely. I like gloves too, they go with everything. Are you thinking of lace gloves? They are so pretty.

I don't think I could wear sweet loli. It is adorable though and I really love looking at pictures of them. The pink dress Carly had at the tea party was really adorable.

Ooo, that is a sexy pinstipe skirt. That will look great with the top and corset. Love the way the stripes change direction to flatter all the curves.

I will be at the Spa on Friday and Saturday, I think I have already bought the tickets. (Need to check that). I'm coming up with quite a few people this year which is fun. I'm staying with Jak and three friends and have loads of mates coming up that could not make it in April. Its a shame that Carly won't be there though.

What day do you arrive? Will you be there for Thursday?

I'll be there from the friday. Yeah I was thinking of lace gloves. Don't know what I'm doing on the saturday yet. I'll probably be in the shambles friday night, so I don't know about friday day and saturday day.

I love the pinstripe skirt, as you said it flatters the curves and so it helps me pass.
I'm just waiting for the exchange rate to get better before I get the dress. I think I need to work on my feminity, I sometimes feel that I'm acting too manly.
Look forward to seeing your new outfits. They are always awesome.
